Infrared sensor IR402 - Novasens

This infrared temperature sensor measures temperatures from -20 °C to 250 °C without contact and is equipped with a type J or K thermocouple output.
This output range is compatible with almost any machine control unit, PIB controller, display device and data logger that has a thermocouple input.

The sensor is suitable for non-contact temperature measurement of materials such as foodstuffs, paper, textiles, plastics, leather, chemicals, rubber, coal and asphalt.
The sensor is also suitable for replacing previous sliding contact sensors and PT measuring sensors and for use in OEM applications or for multi-point measurements.

This infrared temperature sensor is ideal for non-contact temperature measurement in the food industry.
Protection class IP69K means that the sensor is resistant in all production processes with high humidity or wet cleaning processes. Its housing made of V4A stainless steel is extremely resistant and kept in a hygienic design. Due to its robustness, the sensor is also suitable for use in petrochemical industry.

The IR602AC features a compressed air lens cleaning function. This prevents the lens from becoming dirty, which could affect the measurement result. Ideally suited for areas where dust particles or mist are present.
